Yucca Valley High School is pleased to introduce a new communications tool called Anonymous Alerts®.

What is the Anonymous Alerts app?

The Anonymous Alerts anti-bullying and safety app reporting system helps combat bullying and other negative activity in schools by empowering students to speak up. Social and peer pressure are some of the hardest obstacles for students to overcome.

The system allows for 1-way or 2-way anonymous encrypted communications between submitters (students, parents or community members) and district administration and/or school staff. Users of the system have the option to remain anonymous or to reveal their identity when submitting a report.

How does it work?

To use this revolutionary new app, students, parents or other school personnel can simply visit the Yucca Valley High School website and click on the “Anonymous Alerts” button or text link to submit a report expressing their concern. Anonymous Alerts® mobile applications can be downloaded directly from the Apple, Google Play or the Chrome stores.

Yucca Valley High School supplies students a simple username and password activation code, making the app remarkably easy to use and students select which school and contact the message should go to.  In addition, informational posters explaining how to use the app will be displayed throughout schools and offices in the district.

To send reports from the Web/Internet go to: https://www.anonymousalerts.com/yuccavalleyhs/

To send a report from your phone:

  • Download the Anonymous Alerts® app for free from the Apple Store, Google Play store, or the Chrome store
  • Start the App, enter login: yuccavalleyhs and password: yuccavalleyhs
  • Send important reports to school officials
  • Add a screenshot, photo or video about the incident

In an emergency, always call 9-1-1!

STUDENTS

If you have had an electronic device, ear buds, hat or other clothing items confiscated this year, and have yet to pick it up, please see Ms. Charrette after school. You must have your ID to pick-up electronic devices and you must return loaner shirts to pick-up confiscated clothing. Any student without an ID must have their parent pick up electronic devices. All electronics/ear buds/hats/clothing not picked up by June 8th will be donated to charity. A $10 fee will be put on your account in ASB for any loaner clothing that has not been returned. If you have lost an electronic device, please check to see if it has been turned in to the office.

Yearbooks are here! If you pre-ordered a yearbook, stop by ASB directly after school with your student ID card to pick up your yearbook.

Any students interested in any profession in the medical field, please stop by L-18.

If you have student artwork or writing submissions that were on display in the library, please come and pick them up before summer. Thank you for contributing your talent.

See Mr. Drozd in D-2 if you are interested in a career making cabinets and working with wood in Yucca Valley.
